    See

    http://www.declude.com/Articles.asp?ID=97

for a large listing of Anti-spam databases which can be queried via DNS lookup
    from most mail servers.

You will need to check the policies of each list to see what is listed,
determine whether it is too aggressive (gives too many false positives) or
not aggressive enough (gives too many false negatives) for your users.

Some lists are conservative only listing an address if it has evidence that it
has actually sent spam. Others will block an entire class B range if a single
ip address in that range has sent them spam.
