Problem with McAffe Internet Security 6

    OS: XP Pro on HP Pentium 4 machine

    When I boot up my computer, it is extremely slow. Looking at the Task
    Manager, it shows GuardDog.exe is eating away 90-98% of CPU for no
    reason. If I end this process, everything works fine.

    Looked at the McAffe site, nothing there.

    Does it use GUARDDOG in the privacy module? One option is to get rid
    of McAffe altogether and move on to Norton !!
