Simple file encryption software

I need to make some recommendations for some simple and easy to use software
to encrypt a single file (20 to 50MB) before emailing it. Ideally just two
options - encrypt, decrypt!

Winzip may be a possibility, but I understand the encryption is easy to
break and so it may not be considered secure enough.
I have also looked at PGP, but this is probably more than we need.

Recommendations for freeware software (it must be free to use for commercial
use) and/or commercial software gratefully received.

Thanks for any help.

Adrian
