PROBLEM: Java(TM) Runtime Environment classloader may allow
         an untrusted applet to escalate privileges.

IMPACT: Potential information leakage and improper code
         execution.

**REVISED 01**
PLATFORM: Any HP-UX system (B.11.00, B.11.04, B.11.11, B.11.22,
          B.11.23) running the supported versions of Java 1.2.X,
          1.3.X, and 1.4.1.X is affected. Java 1.4.2 is
          unaffected.

  --> HP9000 Servers 700/800 running the HP-UX release
  --> 11.04 (VVOS) with Virtualvault A.04.50 or
  --> Virtualvault A.04.60 or Virtualvault A.04.70
  --> installed.

**REVISED 01**
SOLUTION: Manually update to version of Java with the security
          fixes:

   Java 1.4.1.04 or later (T1456AA (JDK 1.4), T1457AA (JRE 1.4))
   Java 1.3.1.11 or later (B9788AA (JDK 1.3), B9789AA (JRE 1,3))
   Java 1.2.1.16 or later (B8110AA (JDK 1.2), B8111AA (JRE 1.2))

  --> This update is needed only if the customer has downloaded
  --> and integrated java on the Virtualvault platform. The Java
  --> Runtime Environment shipped along with the Virtualvault
  --> product is not affected by the above vulnerability.

MANUAL ACTIONS: Yes - update Java to:
                     Java 1.4.1.04 or later
                     Java 1.3.1.11 or later
                     Java 1.2.1.16 or later

B. Recommended solution
   Update to the appropriate version of the Java SDK and RTE
   from the website <www.hp.com/go/java>.

                     Java 1.4.1.04 or later
                     Java 1.3.1.11 or later
                     Java 1.2.1.16 or later
