Does starting Zone Alarm from icon also start True Vector?

    I've removed the Zone Alarm and True Vector ticks from my Startup file
    in msconfig so i can start ZA from its icon shortcut only when I want
    it. But does starting ZA's .exe file also start up True Vector, and if
    not will ZA be operating correctly without it? I'm aware of the whole
    "True Vector is spyware" debate but have also gathered from some quick
    searching that it's necessary to make ZA work properly.
