Pronunciation question

Does anyone know (educated guesses also welcome, but let me know if
it's just a guess) how to pronounce LaPadula, as in "Bell-LaPadula"?

I can think of two ways, which vary mostly in where you put the
emphasis:

  1) la PA du la (sounds vaguely French)
  2) la pa DU la (sounds almost Italian)

Anybody know?
