This seems right. Although the "mail bombing" is affecting me and lots of
other users, it is still only a "medium" level threat by McAfee, and "low"
threat by Norton. The common factor may be our recent posts to usenet,
which contained our real email addresses, and put us on the "starting list".

For many years I have used only temporary addresses for ebusiness. When the
spam gets bad enough (usually a year or two), I just move on to the next
address. I've just never had it get this bad this quick. From now on, I
will use a fake email address in any public forum. Lesson learned. :>)
