DCC Send in mIRC using DSL.

Need help to make DCC Send to work.
Using mIRC on W2k pro, connected by a DSL (Sprint) modem the
DCC Send does not work. In order to investigate,
I attempted to "DCC Send" a small file to myself. The "Accept request" has
arrived
but after accepting the transfer no transfer started.
What is the correct way to set this up.
