What software to use??

I visited a website lately which could easily show the contents of my
harddrive in my browser (Opera).
I use Sygate Personal Firewall Pro 5.0 and
AVG 6.0 Anti Virus System which is updated regularly.
My OS is Windows XP Pro
My Alcatel ADSL modem also has a firewall.
I also want software that shields me on the Internet.

What software are you using or would you recommend?
