Re: Problems with Router/Firewall and cable modem

This happens with my Telus home Internet here in Canada.

Whenever my ISP would have a hiccup (ie. the connection goes down), on
occasion, my SMC Barricade router will not be able to establish/grab an IP.
I had to re-boot the router and on some occasion re-boot both the ADSL modem
and router to get a connection.

Just my two cents.
