Two more things. Review your internet options. They can be found by going
to (In IE menu bar) Tools>Internet Options. When presented with the Applet
box, click on the Security tab, highlight the Internet icon (big globe) and
make sure Security is set to Medium by using the slide bar. Then, under the
Advanced tab, make sure the following are UNCHECKED;
Microsoft VM
    Java console enabled

Make sure the following are CHECKED;
Security
   Check for publisher's certificate revocation
   Check for server certificate revocation
   Check for signatures on download programs
   Warn about invalid site certificates

This will not stop you from downloading the dialers. This will, however,
give you a last ditch barrier if Antivirus and Adaware type programs don't
catch something. You will get a Windows Security popup that details
certificate information. If the signatures don't match what you thought you
were downloading or if the popup is a surprise is at all "just click NO".
That should save you a lot of trouble.

Note: If someone else has access to your system (say a child or idiot
roommate) and you think they are doing the damage, then you should make them
a member of the USERS group and set the Internet security Level to high for
them. They won't be able to change it or download a damn thing. This feature
is available for NT/2000pro/XP

I learned this the hard way. I gave a roommate of mine access to one of my
boxes so he could surf the internet. Sure as hell I got a $2000 dollar phone
bill the next month. I promptly made a IDIOT user group and locked him down
to only using word and IE. IE of course I locked down to Disney.com,
Biblestudy.com, and Hotmail. I laughed every time loaded up Mickey and
cussed.
