Apologies in advance if this is not the most appropriate group for
this posting.
We are looking at increasing the throughput and resilience of
web-browsing for users. Today, our users all browse through a single
proxy server. We are looking at improving this, by moving to a
solution of using 3 proxies, and DNS round-robin, s.t some users end
up browsing through proxy A, some through proxy B, some through proxy
C.
We have tried using Windows load-balancing for this, but have found
implementation difficulties and performance problems, hence our
thoughts of using DNS round-robin.
My question - are other corporations using this solution for users'
browsing? If so, does it work well?
