Hello,
I am a graduate student and am working in wireless security. I want
to know if there are any tools, which sniff beacon frames, advertised
by accesspoints. I am interested in the 802.11 wireless beacon frames.
I thought the Netstumbler (for windows though) sniffed beacon frames.
But i came to know today that it is not a beacon frame sniffer..but it
discovers accesspoints. AiroPeek it seems sniffs beacon frames. But it
is very expensive. I am looking for a freeware tool.
If anybody knows abt this.please let me know.
thanks
