Well, you _can_ unplug the drive and whack it into another machine and
scan it there. A good, up to date Virus/Trojan scanner should probably
be used though and I'd install a personal firewall and Zone Alarm first
thing it's plugged back in to the original computer (before you put it
back online).
Even so, if it was me I'd rebuild it and make sure all of the above was
installed
before I put it back online.
