You stated that you messed up your computer with no explanation of the
problem. Please advise how my advise screwed up your computer? Since I
have no knowledge of your computer skills sometimes an answer can be
above an operators comprehension. Sorry! Unless you can define your
original question/my answer and show you followed my instructions step
by step, I get the impression that communication was not followed step
by step. You never came back and relayed that my information didn’t
apply or correct the problem. I have found that the person I
communicated with needs a simpler way to correct the problem. A person
who doesn’t go back for additional assistance should never blame the
original helper. What you should have done was communicate the steps
you tried. It sounds like you wanted a Quick Fix with no real
understanding of the exact problem, what caused it, or how to avoid it
in the future.
