    I had the same problem with Tolvanen's Eraser.

    Why go weird with bucking these problems? Why not choose another eraser that
    isn't so touchy as to OS or incompatibilties with other software.

    BCWipe and East-Tech are great erasers.

    I have some Web pages that test various erasers. You might check them out.
