    They have some security certs there too.... somone was telling me that some
    companies can "re-test" your CompTIA certification before formally hiring
    you...Brainbench tests can be tested anywhere, even under lock and key in a
    room inside the company...

    I have been considering the CISSP, Security+ et al. but think the most
    practical/cost effective is brainbench, though admittedly they are pretty
    new on the block...

    The CISSP also requires you to achieve a number of work items in order to
    earn continuing professional credits to maintain your certification. As
    such, you need to be pretty focussed on information security after you
    receive the cert.... which in this work climate seems not entirely certain..
