Hrmm... maybe there's some confusion about the definition of "off"
here. This is ATX, so there are really two power switches: the
power-supply switch (back panel) and the motherboard switch (soft
switch on front panel). I had the back-panel switch turned on,
but the soft-switch off. When shorting the pins, the computer
powered itself on. Are you saying I was supposed to turn off the
back-panel switch?
