The best solution is to
1) Install and use DrivecryptPlus with PBA to encrypt entire HDD.
2) Use WindowsXP or similiar with good security and long
passphrase.
3) Set screen saver to require passphrase on open.
4) Prevent autorun from CD-roms (to prevent bypassing the screen
saver)
5) Every time you leave your desktop computer, even for second or
two, use Windowskey+L to lock it and when you open it, make sure
nobody can see your passphrase.
This way anyone getting your laptop cant decrypt anything whats
inside of it...IF you have selected a good passphrase onto
DrivecryptPlus. :)
