In addition to the other suggestions try this. Find something
work relevant and mail it to yourself from the outside. If it
makes it in, you know something. If not, then print it out and
bring it, and the mail failure, to your bosses attention. You
will look like you care about the company. You may or may not
want to mention some of the technical issues raised here. If you
feel comfortable with them then do so. If not, feign ignorance of
them. Either way, *do not* mention anything about mail being
checked.
