Sure - there are a few ways to get rid of such files - the one I use most
often (I occasionally set up sacrificial servers for my job) is that of
listing the files in a Command-Prompt window by the "DIR /X" command. This
lists the file in two forms - the long form and the short form. The short
form is usually able to be deleted when the long form is not.
