I am trying to see if I understand your theory correctly.

If I extend your theory a little bit, you are advocating that we
basically undo all the networks, and deny any access to and from any
personal computer. That would be an ideal situation from your
perspective. However, your are not being that extreme and actualy
saying, give them access only if they must have it.

If this is the core of your message, there is obviously some wishful
thinking going on here. You are suggesting to roll the clock back a
few years with respect to the Net, disconnect (logically) or disallow
all personal computers from accessing the network and only then we
would have secure environments.

I agree, this practice would definitely provide much better security.
But based on that theory, if we stop using computers all together, we
would have even more secured environments.
