And even if everyone did publish every hacked machine they discovered, there
are bound to be machines that have been hacked without their owners knowing
it.

Remember that you can hack a machine simply by sneaking up to it while the
authorised user is taking a "pinkelpause", as the Germans so sweetly put it.
