Hmmm -- I get the impression of a school assignment. Otherwise the
question would have been much more specific, listing particular
versions of Windows and particular Unices being considered, and
enumerating functional requirements and available resources.
As it stands now, the question is like being asked about Republicans vs
Democrats. Any question of "Which is better overall?" depends very much
on the metric (measuring system) one uses, and until "Colin" supplies
the metric he wants to make the comparisons under, there isn't a lot of
point in discussing the matter.
