Hi all,
I have a sister whose Macintosh Pismo have been stolen. She has the
serial
number of the machine.
I have now done some investigations and have learned that there is a
possibility of retrieving the machine as long as I get hands on the MAC
- media-access-code - address.
I have also heard that this address is relatively easy to change/get rid
of. If the thieve changes the MAC address, reformats the HD, etc., is
there then NO chance of getting it back?
(Is there a "drawback" in this case that the computer is a Macintosh?)
Thank You!
Terje, Norway
