then you may want to try a win98 / win9x newsgroup

alt.windows98

theres no alt.os. blah for windows 98. But anyhow. Any of those
newsgroups I mentioned are fine. Even alt.computer is fine, Most
regulars answering in any of those newsgroups will know how.
