Does anyone know if the Fortigate 60 (Not the wireless FWF-60) can accomodate a Wireless router as in turning off the DHCP on the WLAN router and plugging it into a LAN port on the device (i.e. cat 5 from WLAN router from Wireless router LAN (not WAN) interface to LAN interface on the Fortigate?)

Thanx in advance

You disable the DHCP server on wireless/wire router and it becomes a wire/wap switch. You plug the wire/wap switch into a LAN port on the FW appliance gateway using a static IP on the gateway.

Here is an example for Linksys. The principles of connection the two are the same no matter make or model, when the router becomes a switch, just substitute your devices and IP(s) in the example.
