It's your choice. I can understand your concern but I'm finding it difficult
to think of reasons why I wouldn't give my hijackthis log to that site.

What make and model number of cable modem is it?
Are you sure it does not have an unused ethernet port?
In the start menu choose Run and type cmd
In the black window which appears type ipconfig /all
Look for IP address. Does it say 82.44.52.12 ?
