I suspect hes a noob that knows little about the Netscreen product range.
The 5GT has a phenomenal amount of functionality and most people only scrape
the surface.
Make sure when you purchase you look at the DI signature service
(NS-DI-5GTE) or perhaps one of the bundled support contracts (SV1-AR1-N5GTE)
which gives you both the AV and DI signatures for one year at a very
discounted price (you will need to buy the AV version of the 5GT).
Once you see DI in action you'll wonder whats been getting into your network
;)
