And because of the lack of a firewall, when your system is turned into a
Ddos zombie, you will be unknowingly sending all kinds of infected crap out
into the world : (
A firewall on a clean system usually does little to slow down your
connection. On the other hand, an already infected system may run very slow
as the malware is fighting for internet connection time with your web
browser and e-mail program.
Out of curiosity, what is the speed of your computer? How much memory does
it have? Sorry if I missed this in a previous post.
