SuSE seems to. From the ping man page:

       -M hint
              Select Path MTU Discovery strategy. hint may be
              either do (prohibit fragmentation, even local one),
              want (do PMTU discovery, fragment locally when
              packet size is large), or dont (do not set DF
              flag).
