Dunno what's occuring behind your router but since I installed a gateway
between my computer and Internet (the ADSL modem is USB connected to the
gateway), the gateway's firewall (ZA) still blocks between 100 and several
thousands attempts everyday whilst the computers connected to the network
show below 20 daily attempts.
These attempts are mainly generated by the network computers and by software
trying to connect (Mplayer, REalPlayer, ...).
IMHO "0" is abnormal. On a new config, you'd notice permissions to access
from the browser or the mailer (at least once).
