Check the firewall's logfile (for the Windows Firewall, the default
location is C:\WINDOWS\pfirewall.log). It should show the connections.
Maybe the AOL prattle client connects to a specific server name (by IP
address) that you could block using TCP filtering under the advanced
options for your LAN connectoid's TCP protocol.
Sounds like it would be far easier to use one of the freebie software
firewalls, like Sygate (smb.sygate.com) or ZoneAlarm, if your use
doesn't violate their terms of use.
