Sygate personal firewall, ICS works, file sharing doesn't

I've installed Sygate Personal Firewall (free) on my desktop. The laptop is
connected via a router to the desktop. The y laptop does Internet
Connection Sharing OK, but I can't open the window from the laptop that
accesses the desktop shared folders.

I get this message in a popup on the desktop when I try to open that
connection:

"An application named NT Kernel & System (file name ntoskrnl.exe) has been
blocked from accessing the network."

What do I need to do to let file sharing work from the laptop to the
desktop?

Thanks.
