If the Linksys router can meet the specs in the link *about what does a
FW do*, then it is a FW appliance. And that is it must meet all of the
specs not just some of them. You'll have to get an appliance that's more
than a Linksys I own and still use as a switch as opposed to the
WatchGuard I now own.
