BlackIce config issue

Hello.

I've recently had to install BlackIce (actually NetworkIce, whatever
the difference is) on my home computer because it's part of my wife's
work's home connection package. There's an autoinstall that sticks
it, Norton Corporate, Citrix, and some other stuff so she can log in
from home.

I use Bittorrent and have some ports opened in my XP firewall but the
speed has dropped significantly since installing all this stuff. I
imagine I need to open the same ports in BlackIce but I can't even run
the damn thing. The .exe does nothing and it appears just to run in
the background.

There is a config file which says "don't change me! - use configure"
but I can't get to any kind of front end for it. Can I mess with the
config text file, or does anyone know how to access the front end? I
imagine it's disabled in this version to prevent me doing what I want
to do.
