I am running ZA Free version, completely confused on what
IP's to specify at Firewall--Zones Section to get the
Internet Connection (ICS) setup in my home Wireless network.
I have an XP Desktop -- Gateway to internet via a DSL connection
Like to have my laptop (Win 2000) connect via XP's ICS to internet
XP Desktop : Ethernet Interface to DSL : IP# 2.3.239.x
XP Desktop Wireless Adapter (Ad-hoc) : IP# 192.168.0.1
Laptop Wirelss Adapter (Ad-hoc : IP# 192.168.0.y
In ZA's Firewall--Zones section, which IP's should be
appearing and in which of the four categories for "Entry Type"
1) Host/Site
2) IP Address
3) IP Range
4) Subnet
and in what option for "Zone"
1) Trusted
2) Internet
I haven't found a document to clearly and completely explain
this.
Thanks much in advance,
Ben
