Antivirus belongs on the host machine, where it will do a better job
filtering. Same for the firewall, in my opinion. Do yourself a favor: if
you don't like the features being disabled, call them and demand a refund,
then buy a cheap pentium 1 system and slap Smoothwall 2.0 Linux on it
(which will turn it into a router/firewall), make sure it has two network
cards, etc. There are alternatives.
