mySql behind NAT firewall: does everyone appear as 192.168.1.1 ??

I have mySQL behind a NAT firewall
To get access I must grant to user@192.168.1.1 which is the routers address
Is the true external host information lost?
Does mySQL think htat All traffic is coming from 192.168.1.1 ???
