Well Donald, I agree with your statements "As a result of paying for their
software, they get better products and support" and "SOMEONE has to pay
for it, some where down the line." Both statements are obviously true.
Looks like you tend to "read things" into posts that are not there.
In my post I made no suggestions that anyone should use a free product
instead of buying the product.
When I decided to install a firewall on my computer, I, at randon,
selected free Sygate. After I became familar with it and decided that
it is an outstanding firewall, I bought and registered a pro version.
After several versions and upgrades I am now running Sygate Personal
Firewall Pro v5.5 and I am damn proud of it.
