I disagree, for what should be obvious reasons. Quarantine is the best
option until you can determine if it is safe to delete the file. NEVER
have your AV set to automatically delete anything (except possibly
malware detected in downloads such as some e-mail scanners may
find - you know that you don't need those).

I would much rather see a dialog box asking:

Delete inbox.dbx?

[ ] yes
[ ] no

Than finding all of my e-mail gone.
