Hi Roger, Gator is Spyware that is often downloaded silently with
many free programs. It does ask for access to the internet, in order
to download even more spyware, and ads (lots of ads). Spybot will
find it and get rid of it. I'd also use Adaware scan in case some are
left. Better check out the freeware you downloaded, too. If you give
it access, it'll download more spyware. Block it in ZoneAlarm control
panel, and then watch it. Spyware is a real resource hog.
