HELP ZONEALARM!!!!!

Can anyone help me, I have Zone Alarm 4.5 and the instructions just confuse
me. I can't get on the internet through internet explorer? I ticked all the
boxes with green ticks and still it won't connect. It will let Outlook
express through though. Does anyone know how to fix this?
