You are saying that to install application software (not a CheckPoint
delivered update, thru SDS)...you have required your Domain users to drop
the Domain user ID and logon as local/administrator on the desktop, to
complete the install.

Your question seems to be if wanting to restore access to the domain from
the non-domain, local ID, why does the Domain require the user to logon
(authenticate) as a Domain user? I further suppose your question centers on
whether this is an issue with CheckPoint or with Microsoft Domain security?
Is that about it?
