I have recently deployed a FireBox II on a 3.0Mbps DSL circuit. I want
to use this for my end-users Outgoing Web traffic. I had no problems
configuring it until i turned on the WebBlocker feature. With
WebBlocker turned on, my Internet speeds were cut in half or more. A
typical download speed without WebBlocker was anywhere from
250-285kbps, WITH WebBlocker my speeds are anywhere from 50-100kbps. I
have already had a replacement box sent with the same results. Does
anybody know if performance is sacrificed for using WebBlocker??
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Mike
