hi there. that's what i was hoping. that it would provide adequate
proection. i do have windows xp firewall enabled as well as i haven't
found good reviews on a decent software firewall yet.

another route that i was considering was the motorola sb5100 modem
from comcast with the Zyxel

however then i'd need a router without nat and spi, some cheap one.

then, i'd need someone to setup the Zyxel Zywal 2x for me as i don't
know of anyone that can do it.

Or I could keep the Comcast Linksys i have and ask comcast about
disabling the nat and spi so that i could hook up the Zywal 2x. how's
this last choice sound?
