OT - 2.4GHz phone and wireless network

    hello,

    i think i read an article that said something to the effect that a 2.4 GHZ
    cordless phone will somehow interfere a wireless network in your house. i
    need to buy new phones for my house and was going to buy 2.4 ghz phones, as
    i don't know what benefits the 5.8 ghz phones will give me. i currently have
    a cable modem connection and in the year, plan to put in a wireless network.

    i don't want to buy phone now that may interfere with the network. i would
    greatly appreciate it if someone could clear all of this up for me.
