Are you running web filter software like surfmonkey. I believe
Earthlinks total access uses this software. It will conflict with
Norton 2004's firewall. If you remove the Parental controls and/or
the Accelorator feature of The total Access software from earthlink
this go away.
I notified Norton and Earthlink of this. Norton sent me a form letter
back, but Earthlink agreed that the Surfmokey software was messing up
the Norton Firewall and said they were working on a fix.
I believe Surfmonkey is a proxey. It messes up Nortons Proxey service
that blocks your web adds and popus.
