    In the home network, is it such that the PC (say A) one with the
    firewall software installed (and connected to the modem for DSL,
    Cable) can ALWAYS see the files from the computers (B, C etc.)
    connected to B.

    Is there a way to avoid that so that there would be privacy for the
    Computer B?
