In your fantasy, you are assuming that the workstation has a floppy drive.
Never heard of diskless workstations? Many of my clients employ disk locks
to prevent virus infestation etc. Some are now asking for systems without
CDROM and floppy.
Some use thin clients connecting to Terminal servers.

Dumbass. Domain controllers do not keep logs from all the workstations.
Assuming NT, the logs will still be on the workstion.
